HOOD STYLE AWNING

Florentine

Hood style awnings, also referred to as canopy awnings are predominately fitted over doorways and sometimes windows. Their purpose is to provide shelter from both the sun and rain.  This category of awning generally has the fabric fitted over a fixed frame made of wood or most commonly now aluminium. These  hood style awnings are fitted to a wall , above a window or doorway and are mostly static. There are some hooded awnings which can retract  with a rope but this is not so common now days.

Approximately 90% of the hood style awnings we inspect can be recovered and repaired with a new awning recover. Awning Recovers.Com.Au can come out to you and inspect your awning to assess if it can be recovered with a new awning cloth. The shape of the awning generally determines the type of canopy awning that it is. There are lots of different shapes but the most common canopy awnings we recover are Florentine Awnings, Dutch Hood Awnings and French Hood Awnings.

If your Canopy Style Awning cannot be recovered, Awning Recovers.Com.Au can supply and install a completely new hood style awning.
