HOW TO MEASURE

How to measure an awning recover for the following awnings;

-Auto(lock)

-Fixed Guide Awning

-Drop Arm Awning

-Straight Drop Awning

-Folding Arm Awning

Step 1. Extend open the awning all the way out.

Step 2.  Width Measurement(mm) -Run  a measuring tape along the width of the awning fabric measuring the exact cloth width edge to edge from left to right( if the awning fabric is extremely torn and this is not possible, measure the bottom bar width and deduct 20mm.)

Step 3. Drop measurement (mm)-Run a measuring tape and measure from the top of the  awning roll tube to the bottom of the awning valance.( this measurement can be an approximate within 50mm as we at Awning Recovers.Com.Au always add extra fabric into the drop.

Step 4. Record your measurements... width first ....and then the drop measurement. You can then email them to  us via our contact page for an indicative quotation.  All measurement you send us will still need to be check measured onsite by one of our expert installers.

How to measure Hood Style awnings for recover for the following awnings;

-French Hood

-Dutch Hood

-Florentine Hood

Step 1.  Width Measurement(mm) -Run  a measuring tape along the width of the awning fabric measuring the exact cloth width edge to edge from left to right( If your awning is circular  such as a florentine  then measure the widest width which is the back of wall measurement.

Step 2. Height Measurement (mm)-Run a measuring tape and measure from the top edge of the  awning to the bottom of the awning valance.

Step 3. Projection Measurement(mm)-Run a measuring tape from the bottom back of the awning(or wall) to the most forward edge to give us the maximum projection out from the wall.

Step 4. Record your measurements... width first ....and then the height measurement followed by the projection. You can then email them to  us via our contact page for an indicative quotation.  All measurement you send us will still need to be check measured onsite by one of our expert installers.
